Yaass! Glitz throws Mary’s a drag bat mitzvah

The grrls of Glitz tend to go as far off-center as possible with each theme Thursday they do at Mary’s. East Atlanta’s gay bar bore witness to this phenomenon again when cast member Brigitte Bidet celebrated “when my momma popped me out and bequeathed me to all you folks.”

Just a few months after passing down the Miss Edgewood crown to one of her baddest bitches, Bidet (photo) turned 26 on Thursday. That magic number means that the queen is old enough to have celebrated two 13-year bat mitzvahs according to Jewish tradition.

Don’t think about it too hard. Just go with it. What’s important is that while the eclectic crowd scarfed down beers, they ate up the self-described “cute cunt” queens during “Brigitte Bidet's Bat Mitzvaahhh” show. Thursday's cast included Peach Blaus, Geneva Blaus, Karma Chameleon, Lola Bundy, Apryll Showers, Mo'Dest Volgare, Natalie Suxx and Smokey La Bear.
