Would you gay smooch for the Kiss Cam?

Pro sports teams, the Atlanta Braves included, love their Kiss Cams. They use them during lulls in the action to prompt couples to pucker up. But the punchline is often ending the bit on two unsuspecting men. Two guys kissing? Ick.

Oakland A’s pitcher Brandon McCarthy last week blasted the practice as offensive and homophobic. But is it? HRC seems to think so.

Queery: Are Kiss Cams a homophobic gag? Would you gay smooch for one?

Queery is where we ask Project Q readers — in our Forum, Facebook, Twitter (hashtag #pqaqueery), Google+ and the comments section below this post — about an issue of the day, pressing question or something that’s just fun and provocative. We’ll collect the best answers in a follow up post.
