imageThe ladies of the Decatur Women’s Sports League are jumping into the New Year full throttle.

In the coming weeks, they’ll be offering bowling, volleyball, softball and badminton. Yes, badminton — it’s the newest offering from the league.

First up is bowling, which opens its 10-week season at Suburban Lanes in Decatur on Jan. 7. Volleyball arrives on Feb. 5 and runs into late March. There’s also softball, which was the first sport the league offered when it launched nearly two years ago. That season opens March 20. Finally, there’s badminton, which runs April 2 to late May.

Check the league’s web site for additional details and costs for each sport. You can also {encode=”[email protected]” title=”email”} Anne Barr, the league’s founder, for more information.
