Why it might be bad to hire an escort online

Guys lie when it comes to sex, so hooking up online carries risks. But when the booty involves cash -- and for a third of you, it has -- the stakes are higher and the trouble can come faster. Take it from this Atlanta guy who got hustled by a hustler. Our guy, who asked to remain anonymous, recounted his recent hookup with an escort he hired from Rentboy and arranged to meet through Adam4Adam as a warning to others: Hiring Dick2big can lead to big troubles. Here's his email to Rentboy that our tipster provided to Project Q:

I am writing to inform your site and its management that I believe one of your models may have put a powder-like substance in my drink on Saturday evening. I was staying at the Hyatt Place hotel in downtown Atlanta, and I invited model/escort, "Dick2big", to my hotel room. Upon his arrival he ate a sandwich he had brought to the room. At the time , I was drinking a canned ginger ale that I had just opened before he arrived. In an effort to be hospitable to the escort, I asked him if he wanted a Sprite. He said yes, and I walked to the "mini-fridge". I then returned to the couch and drank my ginger ale. Shortly, after drinking it I noticed a slight tightness in my chest and a slight numbness in my leg. He removed his clothes and we had intercourse. Afterward he washed off, got dress, and I walked him outside. The escort was walking behing me as oppose to beside me. To my surprise there was gentlemen just standing at the curve (near the adjacent restaurant). He was wearing a hooded jacket and I could not see his face. I passed him, and the escort/model stopped, shook his hand, and gave him a "brotherly" embrace. I noted the strangers awkward look at me,, but his open and over friendly acknowledgement with the escort/model. Without any concrete evidence, my initial thoughts were that their actions appear gang-like. The escort in question is a black male, with a very dark completion, he wore two earrings (i believe and a black athletic jacket with orange strips, short way hair. He said he was going to catch a train home. Since I was uncomfortable passing the gentlemen that was just standing on the corner, I deliberately bypassed him by crossing he street and "jaywalked" to get to the hotel entrance. Since I was concerned about my well-being, I abruptly left the hotel around midnight. I asked the lady at the front desk do they have security cameras in place to capture people entering and exiting the building. She indicated that she could not give that information out. Although I live in Atlanta, I thought the hotel would be a neutral, but safe place to met. He indicated that he lived in Doraville, GA; however, phone records indicate that the address associated with the phone number on the Rentboy site is [in downtown Atlanta]. I have also seen his ads on Craigslist. Ironically another young gentlemen (light-skinned with a Power tattoo on his neck) from Adam4Adam contacted me months ago and we met after meeting him I had similiar feelings (tightness and numbness). He indicated that he lived in Lithonia, GA; however, today I learned that the address associated with his number is [in downtown Atlanta]. I would encourage ALL gay men in Atlanta to be cautious we meeting men on Jack'd, Rentboy, Adam4Adam (Radar), and Craigslist. I myself am a gay black male, and I strongly believe that Jack'd and Adam4Adam are being used to target victims. If one is on-line predators can easily identify your information.
Fortunately, his escort hookup ended without serious incident -- our tipster says he wasn't assaulted or robbed during the cash for sex exchange. But he argues that the escorts he hired are part of "gay gangs" that use escort sites and mobile cruise apps to target gay men. So maybe just go with the pros from small town Georgia? "Be cautious of all on-line hookups," he says. Consider yourself warned.
