In case you haven’t heard, there’s a football game on Sunday. Sucking all of the oxygen out of the sports world is the Patriots-Giants match up, otherwise known as Super Bowl XLII. Kick off is 6:18 p.m. on Fox.

If you’re looking to join other jocks, two gay sports groups offer the chance. Warm up with the Atlanta Bucks Rugby Football Club as they host an event at Frogs Cantina eli_manning.jpgfrom 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Then, to watch the game, head over to the National Flag Football League of Atlanta’s event at WETbar that begins at 5 p.m. Both events also provide the opportunity to meet players and learn about the organizations.

Indeed, there are other options. Atlanta’s only gay sports bar, Woofs, will have its 30 televisions ready for the game. Several other gay bars are also pitching events. The current issue of David Atlanta highlights those.
