RUGBY: The Atlanta Bucks Rugby Football Club closes out its fall season with a day of events on Saturday called the Ruck-A-Buck Invitational. Teams from Phoenix and Minneapolis are in town for the event. Matches begin at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. at Walker Park with a “3rd Half” gathering after at Burkhart’s. The Bucks also hold their monthly bar night at the Eagle beginning at 10 p.m.
RALLY: The furor over the passage of the gay marriage ban Proposition 8 is reaching Georgia on Saturday. At least five events are planned across the state, including two in Atlanta at 1:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. Read more about the events here.

SUNDAY BRUNCH: The folks behind the popular Social Tuesdays are offering a new event on Sunday — brunch. Salvation Sundays continues this week at Maxim Prime at the Glenn Hotel, the site of a Social Tuesdays event on Oct. 14. The theme? “80s Rewind.” Brunch runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and specials include $5 Bloody Marys and $15 bottomless Mimosas.
