CORPORATE EQUALITY: The Atlanta Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce hosts its Wow Wednesday event at 6 p.m. The gay business group is celebrating the Atlanta companies that scored a perfect 100 on the recent Human Rights Campaign Corporate Equality Index. $15 for members, $20 for non.

OBAMA PRIDE: Gay and lesbian supporters of President-elect Obama are gathering to celebrate their hard work in Georgia. The LGBT Georgians for Obama event begins at 8 p.m.

BINGO: Join Bubba D. Licious and the good folks at Pets Are Loving Support for their monthly fundraiser. The theme for the event, which opens at 6:30 p.m., is Family Bingo. $20

EXPLORING GENDERS: The book group Exploring Genders Through Reading meets for their monthly discussion at Charis Books & More at 7 p.m. On tap for tonight is “That’s Revolting!: Queer Strategies for Resisting Assimilation.”

TIED IN KNOTS: Nicholas Kniel and Timothy Wright, authors of “Ribbon: The Art of Adornment,” talk about their new book and ideas for the uses of ribbons at Outwrite at 7:30 p.m.
