A post-exam Netflix session turned violent for an 18-year-old UGA student on Monday, who alleges that a friend stripped him naked, sexually assaulted him and then attacked him when he objected.
The 18-year-old college student told Athens-Clarke County police that after wrapping up his final exams on Monday, he visited Andre Montez Jones in his Whistlebury Walk apartment, according to Online Athens.
The men watched Netflix and Jones, 27, gave him an open beer before the victim allegedly passed out, according to police. Via Online Athens:
“He says he didn’t remember anything after that until he woke up naked in Montez’s bed” with the suspect attempting to have oral sex with him, according to police.
After telling Jones he was not gay and “didn’t do things like that,” the student related to police that he got dressed and tried taking his phone from the suspect, at which time Jones allegedly started attacking him, according to police.
The victim says Jones' roommate failed to help him, so he fled the apartment shirtless and with a bloody nose, swollen eye and scratches on his body and face, according to police.
On Tuesday, Jones was arrested and charged with aggravated sodomy with force, a felony, and battery, a misdemeanor. He remains in the Clarke County Jail without bond.
