UGA fans pack Woofs to cheer on Bulldogs during National Championship

Bulldog Nation descended on Woofs on Monday to cheer on UGA as it fought for its first national championship in 37 years.

But LGBT fans had their hopes dashed as the Bulldogs – who led Alabama 20-7 in the third quarter – lost in overtime. Just like that Falcons flop in the Super Bowl last year.

Throughout the game, though, the bar was filled with UGA fans proudly showing their loyalty in hats, hoodies, jerseys, t-shirts and more. There were even a few Bama fans dressed in their Crimson Tide memorabilia sprinkled in the crowd.

In November, Woofs celebrated its 15th anniversary with a bar packed full of its fans and supporters.
