GAY TALK: YouthPride, hosts two discussion groups tonight for LGBT youth ages 13 to 24. Boy Talk, hosted by AID Atlanta, and Womyn’s Lounge both get started at 6:30 p.m.
GET SOCIAL: Have some cocktails, conversation and connections with Social Tuesdays, which moves to Ecco on 7th Street in Midtown this week. Cocktails start at 7 p.m.
PLAY BALL: Stop in and scope out the Hotlanta Volleyball Association. Today marks the start of the gay league’s advanced open play, which includes members and non-members playing in random teams. Action begins at 7:30 p.m. at Agnes Scott College.
PERFORMANCE ART: Acclaimed performance artist Staceyann Chin brings her extraordinary talents to the page in a brave, lyrical, and fiercely candid memoir about growing up in Jamaica, coming out as a lesbian, and finding the man she believes to be her father and ultimately her voice. She stops at Outwrite Bookstore & Coffeehouse to read from and discuss the work. 7:30 p.m.
TIPSY TUESDAYS: My ATL Productions is behind Tipsy Tuesdays at Club Chaparral on Buford Highway. The evening includes drink specials and giveaways. 10 p.m. with a talent show at 11:30 p.m.
