Tuesday: Four gay things to do today

Add this share

SHOP FOR A CAUSE: It’s a “Big Night Out” for YouthPride. Shop at Outwrite Bookstore & Gifts, Charis Books & More, Helmet Hairworx and Brushstrokes from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and five percent of your tab will be donated to the group for gay and lesbian youth.

GET SOCIAL: Have some cocktails, conversation and connections with Social Tuesdays, which moves its weekly gathering to Marlow’s Tavern in Midtown. The locale proved popular in November when the group joined other organizations there for an Election Night event. Cocktails start at 7 p.m.

DEEP DISH: Mary Kay Andrews, a former Atlanta Journal-Constitution reporter, reads from and signs her book “Deep Dish” at Outwrite Bookstore & Coffeehouse. The New York Times bestselling author has 10 crtically-acclaimed mysteries. The event starts at 7:30 p.m.

SPIKE IT: The Hotlanta Volleyball Association continues its spring league. On tap for 7 p.m. tonight is intermediate and advanced league play at Agnes Scott College.
