Let’s just consider Monday a rough draft. Polish up your week with firm plans on our calendar of LGBT events. Here’s today’s batch from special events and dinners to shows and beyond.
• Namesake event. The dinner that started it all for Atlanta’s venerable lesbian social group eats up during Fourth Tuesday Dinner @ Wahoo! Grill, 6 p.m.
• End of an era. Last Tango at 10th and Piedmont features multiple authors from Hollis Gillispie (top photo) to Daniel Helminiak and so many more, all of whom helped make the current location so iconic @ Outwrite, 7:30 p.m.
• Watch it. “Glee” Watch Party, followed by Evolve! Not Your Typical Showtunes @ Amsterdam, 8 p.m., and Queer Queens of Qomedy features laughs with Poppy Champlin from Showtime (bottom photo), Vickie Shaw from Comedy Central and Barb Neligan from CMT @ Punchline, 8 p.m.
• Sing out. “I’ve Gotta Sing” Karaoke @ Blake’s, 7 p.m., Krazy Karaoke @ Le Buzz, 9 p.m., Mary-oke @ Mary’s, 9 p.m., Karaoke @ Burkhart’s, 11 p.m., and more bars that don’t make you sing on the full bar calendar.
There are even more things to do on today’s Gay Agenda. View the full list on Project Q Atlanta’s interactive community calendar. You can also submit your own events.
