Trixie Mattel dolls up South Beach Saturday

One unique queen, one shocking elimination, and one packed house of gays at South Beach all added up to Saturday’s raucous Houston debut for “Rupaul’s Drag Race” contestant Trixie Mattel.

Gay Houston’s favorite dance party amped up its holigay weekend with the recently eliminated queen (photo). She brought her comedy to the stage along with her lip sync, and the crowd filled her fists with dollars to show their appreciation.

The dance floor lit up with phones taking pics and video, and fans who wanted to get up-close-and-personal with the special guest were able to do the meet-and-greet and photo shoot after the show.

Mattel is the latest in a string of “Ru Girls” to hit the club, including Bianca Del Rio, and Chad Michaels, to name just two. On April 12, South Beach hosts Season 7’s Sasha Belle.
