You probably can’t afford to have DJ Roland Belmares come to your house and spin tracks to get you in the mood for Joining Hearts, so here’s a list of the hot dance tracks to get your dance face on.

image“New In Town” (Starsmith Remix) – Little Boots
British sensation Little Boots brings us the perfect mix to get the party started thanks to an exuberant remix from Starsmith: “I’m going to take you out tonight/ I’m going to make you feel alright” indeed.

“Would’ve Been the One” (Groove Police Club) – Solange
Not to be outdone by her big sister, the younger Knowles on the dance chart fires back with a new single of her own. This version almost has a Freemasons feel to it thanks to the slightly retro use of the synths.

image“Ego” (DJ Escape and Johnny Vicious Club Remix) – Beyoncé
Sharp percussion and dramatic synths crank up the club vibe on this remix, but the lyrics retain their tempo from the original version, which is a different take for Escape and Vicious for a club mix.

image“While You See a Chance” (Jayma Club) – Matt Zarley featuring Billy Porter
This remix, taken from the second single release for this track, takes Zarley’s cover of Steve Windwood’s classic track and throws it right into peak hour at any dance club.

image“Battlefield” (Tonal Club Mix) – Jordin Sparks
From the opening percussion, this remix is an aggressive take on Sparks’ latest single, which will surely bode well for her album sales. Tonal showcases Sparks’ powerful vocals and cranks up the energy with a staccato backbeat and anthemic synths, but the vocals still retain the focus on this mix.

image“Jealous of My Boogie” (Ranny vs. The Popstar) – RuPaul
The latest single from “Champion” pulses with big room sound and thumps along a tribal beat, giving up plenty of attitude and camp to work on the dancefloor. Shantay, you stay, Ru!

“Sweet Dreams” (OK DAC Club Remix) – Beyoncé
Sasha Fierce goes electro on this remix, proving that more Beyoncé
can definitely be a good thing.

image“I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)” (Alex Gaudino and Jason Rooney Remix) – Pitbull
This song will be one of the biggest club hits of the summer and this remix brings a different feel to the dance floor, but it’s sexy and packs plenty of Latin flare.

“The One” – Mary J. Blige and Drake
This new track from Blige’s upcoming album proves she still has plenty of swagger and attitude to back up the hype, declaring “I ain’t sayin’ that I’m the best, but I’m the best.” You better strut, Mary J.!

image“Here Comes the Rain Again” (Freemasons Remix) – Eurythmics
Taken from the British DJ duo’s latest compilation, the two-CD import release “Shakedown 2,” this fresh take on the 80s classic is a perfect marriage of superb original material given just the right modern tweaks to please die-hard fans of the Eurythmics and Freemasons.
