Thursday: Stripping down for swimsuits

Add this share

We let out a little squeal of delight this morning as we realized David Atlanta’s annual swimsuit issue hits the streets this week.

And boy, they packed some goodness into those small swimsuits. It’s difficult to imagine they didn’t get through the recent shoot with gay photographer Tim Wilkerson without a wardrobe malfunction.

But being the pro he is — Wilkerson has a long history of producing some of the best beefcake photos around for the magazine and other outlets — we’re sure that he and the staff at David managed to work through any difficulties if parts started popping out when they weren’t supposed to.

The result is a magnificent and diverse spread of hotties strutting around in the latest poolside fashions. From a twink and Latin to beefy and white, along with two men of color, the swimsuit spread reminds us why we like summer so much.

The photos were shot at the W Atlanta – Midtown and tonight, that’s where you can see more for yourself and mingle with the models at the Atlanta Executive Network & David Swim 2009 Fashion Event. (View the full event listing.)

You can also view a slideshow from the photo shoot on David’s site.
