FILM SCREENING: Join Charis Books & More for the next episode in the series, “Unnatural Causes: Is Inequality Making Us Sick.” Following this screening, there will be a discussion about urban planning and environmental justice, focusing on local politics in the metro Atlanta area. 7:30 p.m.

GAY LAUGHS: The Atlanta Pride Committee has partnered with Laughing Skull Comedy Lounge for a Thursday evening that should make you laugh and benefit Pride. Here’s how it works: By a $15 or $18 ticket to the 8 p.m. or 10 p.m. show at the comedy lounge, use “pride” as the promotion code and Pride receives $5.

HYDRATE: With music by Gunter, Hydrate Thursdays continues its successful run at the W Midtown’s Living Room. The evening is brought to you by the same guys behind Social Tuesdays. 9 p.m.

COCKTAILS: Thursday Night Cocktail continues its fun evening of cocktails and conversation inside the downstairs bar at Trois. The drinks start pouring at 9 p.m.

BOOTY SHAKE: A dope blend of Deep Disco, 80s Dance Punk, Hard Soul, Icon Classics and Funk from DJ No Tech for the disco edition of Mary’s Balls-Out Thursday. 9 p.m.
