Demonstrations, DJs, discussions, drinks, drag and of course, a dynamic assortment of dudes and dames await your choosing on today’s Gay Agenda calendar of local LGBT events.

Let’s get real. “Thank God You Can’t Pray Away The Gay” Discussion Panel with Truth Wins Out’s Wayne Besen (top photo), SPLC and local activists exposes the “ex-gay” myth through “reparative therapy” survivors @ Redeemer Lutheran Church, 7:30 p.m. This discussion is in response to Exodus International’s Atlanta conference, where there will be a protest on Saturday.

Pets are people too. Puppy Love Party with PALS & Barking Hound offers cocktails and munchies to benefit a new pet adoption center @ Sophie’s Uptown, 6 p.m.

Always playing games. Texas Hold’em Poker @ Blake’s, 7 p.m., Crazy Bitch Bingo @ Las Margaritas, 7:30 p.m., and Dirty Boy Bingo with Ruby Redd @ Cockpit, 9 p.m.

Let me entertain you. Kennesaw Pride Alliance Drag Show for PALS @ KSU, 7:30 p.m., and Cliterati Open No-Mic ft. Kottavei Williams (bottom photo) and her book “mentalcourse” @ Charis, 7:30 p.m.
