imageYour Thursday just got a whole lot gayer. Out on Film concludes, the fun in fundraisers, two Atlanta authors, Screen on Gotham Park’s “Legally Blonde,” then it’s finally Mo Time at the bars.

Out on Film concludes with “Her Name Was Steven,” Andy Warhol classics, and “Pornography: A Thriller” @ Midtown Art Cinema, then an afterparty @ the Atlanta Eagle. Films start at 5 p.m., but they just upped the ante with a special 3 p.m. re-screening of the festival centerpiece “A Cross Burning in Willahoochee.”

Have fun and do good; our favorite combination. Let’s Shear It For The Boys casino party for AIDS Walk @ Vivid Hair Salon. 6 p.m. Costume Fashion Show for Jerusalem House @ Steel. 6:30 p.m.

image Two talented locals and their new books. Rabbi Joshua Lesser with “Torah Queeries” @ Charis, 7:30 p.m. and Tray Butler (top photo) with “Moon Atlanta” @ Outwrite. 8 p.m. Read our interview with Tray.

Screen on Gotham Park raises funds under the stars for the Piedmont Heights area greenspace. This week: “Legally Blonde” (bottom photo), 7:30 p.m.

Give a new name to a day of the week that already has one. Lounge Thursdays @ The W Atlanta Midtown, 9 p.m. Premier Thursdays @ Stage Door, 9 p.m. Hydrate Thursdays @ Club Life, 9:30 p.m.

It’s always Mo Time @ Mary’s, but they actually call it that tonight, 10 p.m. Everybody else has something special for the Mo’s, too. Click to seee what’s up at Mixx, Blake’s, Bellissima, the Eagle, and Burkhart’s.
