This week’s Q Atlus makes a splash in poolside blues

Summer came and the crises of 2020 continued, so our beach vacation fantasies are still hampered and tampered by our constant companion, coronavirus. But a pandemic summer and the COVID blues get along swimmingly in Q Atlus this week.

Rather than waterworks, this issue makes a splash at the pool and opts for optimism and options. We may not land on the sands of distant shores, but we can still work swimwear. Our 2020 swimsuit issue finds gay guys turning their covid blues into vivid hues.

The boys of summer are joined by our publisher, who tells himself fables and parables to get his inner optimist through the ordeals of the day in this week’s Q Voices. I join him with some sage advice as Q editor in Q Advice.

We round up Q Community News from daily coverage on Project Q Atlanta, and 10 Q Things sees exit strategies from rocky relationships. You’ll also find our Q Map and Q Events for downtime distractions, find fresh online content daily at, and find your editor at [email protected].
