This photo a sure sign Atlanta Pride is coming

Never mind that Piedmont Park is trashed. The rainbow freight train that is Atlanta Pride is rolling round the big gay bend. How do we know? Rainbow banners now hanging on utility poles in Midtown.

The entertainers are in place for the Oct. 12-13 festival. So are the parade grand marshals. Even some special honorees. And the symbolic gesture that Pride is less than three weeks away? The vertical banners urging Atlanta to “Show Its Pride.”

Happy Pride! Just don't tell Tim Gunn.
