K. Murry Johnson wasn’t joined by any black gay vampires, but the Atlanta author did break into a clarinet ditty on Thursday before signing his new book for fans.
The author of “Image of Emeralds and Chocolate,” the first black gay vampire coming-of-age love story, did warn us that it might happen. And it did come as he downed some book-themed drink specials. And it probably solidifies his place on a Wikipedia page for black gay clarinet players, too.
Anything for his fans, right?
Johnson appeared at Mixx as part of an ongoing collaboration with Brushstrokes to host author appearances. Last month they hosted Totally Tyler for his delicious manhunt. And that’s proved so popular that we now feature his weekly musings on the crazies he comes across on Grindr.
