This gay Atlanta singer wants your love–in cash

Drag queen junkie and superhero stalker Dylan Michael is a singer and songwriter, too, and the gay Atlanta guy needs your gentle touch to help his new album come to life. Yes, crack open the piggy banks for his online fundraising campaign.

Michael launched his Indiegogo campaign last week with hopes of raising $2,000 to help produce “Vandalized.” And that’s where you come in. This “Part Time Lover” wants to feel your affection in cool crisp dollars in the next 60 days.

“Vandalized” is an album that came to me very suddenly. I’ve always written songs and always been a performer. After a bad breakup in college, I wrote “AfterLove”. I mean, aren’t all the great albums written with broken hearts? So, even during the recording process of “AfterLove”, I was still writing; planning for my new album. I knew exactly the route I was going to go in, I knew what sounds I wanted, what songs I was going to have on there, and then everything changed.

An event in my life changed the way I felt and looked at life. So, within a week of this instance, I had an entirely new album, new sound, new direction. And I couldn’t be prouder. I look forward to sharing this album with you, and with your help, I can do just that.

Meanwhile, Michael isn’t giving his singing chops a rest. He did Atlanta Pride, notched performances at Mary’s, My Sister’s Room and Smithe’s Olde Bar, and is hitting the Pride circuit this summer. You can get a taste of him — and hunky tweeting pornster Charlie Harding — on April 16. That’s when the pair hosts a release party for their single “It’s My Party” at Ten Atlanta.
