Old Hollywood glamour is set to invade the capitol of the South on Saturday when gay Atlanta’s newest event, the highly anticipated Y’allywood Diva Ball, debuts honoring Atlanta Cotillion to benefit AID Atlanta.

For one magical, queen-filled night, gay boys, babes and beards get the opportunity to channel their favorite classic movie star or starlet, disco diva, debonair dreamboat, or classic badboy. Oh hey there, Marlon Brando (top photo). It’s your opportunity to channel the perfect mix of the event’s “Old Hollywood meets the New South” theme.

To provide a little inspiration for your lavish night out, here are six iconic looks to inspire your look.

Audrey Hepburn

The Breakfast at Tiffany’s star was known for her chic and simplistic look. To channel your inner-Audrey, remember one thing: it is all about the brows.

James Dean

The original Hollywood bad boy, no one would could quite pull off a cropped jacket and simple white tee as effortlessly as he did.

Marilyn Monroe

With that breezy white dress, peekaboo hair and sultry pout, you will have Mr. President wrapped around your little finger before the clock strikes 12.

Elizabeth Taylor

When one thinks of Liz Taylor, the first look that comes to mind is her iconic portrayal of Cleopatra. The randy Egyptian royal had a wardrobe midtown gays would kill for. C’mon, you know I’m right.

Diana Ross

Every little gay boy has sashayed and slayed Ross’s signature anthem, “I’m Coming Out” at least once. Dressed as the true queen of disco, you certainly will let the world know just where your flag flies on Saturday night, honey.

Elvis Presley

If you’re not feeling a gender change for the evening, then might I suggest stepping into the “Blue Suede Shoes” of the almighty King. Swtiching those hips like the “Hunka, Hunka, Burnin’ Love” crooner will surely land you some tender lovin’ or in “Heartbreak Hotel.”

Y’allywood Diva Ball takes place Saturday, Sept. 26 at Mason Murer Fine Art Gallery. Buy tickets online starting at $100.
