A good float always catches the eye. But it’s the people along the route that add revelry and excitement to the Atlanta Pride Parade. And there were thousands of them lining the streets Nov. 1.
So we dedicate this album to you — the faces of our diverse melting pot that came together to enjoy the festivities. You were there waving rainbow flags and wearing rainbow wigs, hugging your partner or holding hands with your partner of the moment. You dressed to stand out in the crowd, from halter tops to no tops at all.
You carried signs supporting equality and offering slogans such as “2 proud parents of 2 gay kids,” “hetero is a sin” and “I love cock more.” You chanted to be heard over street preachers and danced in the street.
All in all, you were loud and proud. So enjoy taking a look back at a photo album dedicated to you. View the Project Q Atlanta photo album of people along the parade route.
