Joining Hearts splashes into 25th year [photos]

It was a gay game of shirts and skins – mostly skins – at the latest Joining Hearts party on Sunday. Atlanta’s biggest gay pool party isn’t until July, but the fun fundraisers are already a go. View the Joining Hearts gallery. Galleries from PALS Doggies on the Catwalk, For The Kid in All of Us Beer Bust, DJ Brett Henrichsen at Jungle and the Hotlanta Softball’s rowdy Extra Innings Beer Bust with the Atlanta Titans also drew big clicks. Which gay glossy is Atlanta’s nipple queen?

Oh summer, how do we love thee? Guys, skimpy swimsuits, abs and nipples. Lots of nipples. Atlanta’s gay glossies offer up their summer swimsuit editions, but which one gives us the most nipples, Fenuxe or David? We counted. Page by page, we chewed on these for quite some time. Read the full post.

Some old guy, Project Q debate marriage in AJC

Gay marriage is all the rage among the gays and leaves you raging if you’re one of those blah-blah “traditional marriage” types who’s been divorced like 12 times. The Atlanta-Journal Constitution asked Project Q’s founder and a religious conservative to weigh in with a point-counterpoint on its Atlanta Forward op-ed page. Read the full post.

Beach about it: Pensacola tips for gay Atlanta

Double workouts for maximum swimsuit appeal may be top-of-mind, but gay Atlanta’s mass exodus for Memorial Weekend required more. Whether you went or not, this advice from experienced gay beach bums can benefit any beach excursion and make sure you’re prepped all summer long. Read the full post.

MLK niece renews war on ‘homosexual agenda’

King family embarrassment Alveda King, Martin Luther King, Jr.’s niece, really needs to stop talking. She’s hyper-focused on the gays. Again. And not in that fun Betty White sort of way. Who’s grandmother spews hate and talks like this? Read the full post.

Anderson Cooper is a hot sweaty top

CNN silver fox Anderson Cooper is a power top that gets really sweaty. At least when he’s topping the competition at “Jeopardy” and donating big bucks to an LGBT charity. Wait. Did you think we meant…? Dirty. Watch the video, or view other popular videos about gay marriage in ‘X-Men’, Obama’s LGBT campaign pitch narrated by Jane Lynch and Adam Lambert dissing Clay Aiken.

Georgia Equality’s big gay political pickle

When it comes to election cycle endorsements, Georgia Equality nails it. Except when they are faced with a mess known as gay v. gay-friendly veteran lawmakers. Now we’ve got ourselves a bit of a pickle. The statewide gay group made four endorsements in five races with gay candidates, but hasn’t chosen a side in House District 57. Read the full post. You can also preview all six gay state election qualifiers.

The gay experience summed up in 4 tasty words

A coupon stuck to the front page of my Atlanta Journal-Constitution sums up the gay experience in four simple, delicious, appetizing, mouth-watering yet evil words: “FREE Chocolate Chunk Cookie.” It’s so much more than a cookie. When it’s from Chick-fil-A, its a symbol of a great gay debate and a derailment of any effort to trim the tummy in time for summer. Read the full post.

Trial opens Tuesday in Brandon White beating

So much for the wheels of justice grinding slowly: The men accused of beating a gay Atlanta man and posting video of the attack online will face trial on Tuesday in Fulton County Superior Court. Read the full post.
