The big gay PALS party 25 years in the making

Few organizations are as beloved in gay Atlanta as Pets Are Loving Support. It’s little wonder, then, that the silver anniversary of the non-profit brought out fab gays and big guns to celebrate.

For the celebration, the group hosted a slew of supporters for cocktails, food and a silent auction. It was almost enough to fete 25 years of helping terminally ill people keep and care for their pets.

For the big milestone, a proclamation from the City of Atlanta acknowledged PALS ongoing success, and gay City Council member Alex Wan delivered the certificate in person. City Council member Mary Norwood was there to mingle with her gays during the event, and longtime PALS emcee, supporter and spokesperson Bubba D. Licious was also on hand.
