Friday, June 12

Pump Friday (top photo). Dancing queens dip their toes back into live events with DJ Mike Pope, limited occupancy, social distancing, 39 state requirements and a curfew loophole @ Heretic, 10 p.m.

Q Conversations: How Georgia Can Address Hate Crimes & Police Brutality. The legislature reconvenes next week, and Q has your front-row ticket. Our founder Matt Hennie hosts a panel including LGBTQ state Reps. Park Cannon and Renitta Shannon, plus Georgia Equality’s Eric Paulk to discuss timely bills on Hate Crimes and Police Brutality. Midtown Moon. Itching to open this week for real-real but facing all the challenges, you can support this Ansley bar and restaurant in the interim with both in-bar and to-go food and drinks @ 1492 Piedmont Ave NE, 4 p.m. – 3 a.m. daily. 

MSR Day & Night. Spring Hours commence inside and out at Atlanta’s lesbian club with reopening guidelines, sit-down or to-go food and drinks, plus late-night hookahs. They’re told curfews are not for business patrons @ My Sister’s Room, 5 p.m. – 3 a.m.

The Other Show. Edie, Jaye and the queens take their left-of-center show digital @ Facebook Live & Twitch, 9 p.m.

Happy Hour & Queer Bait. Mary’s continues its Mary’s in Space virtual events to benefit its out-of-work employees @ Twitch.tv, 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.

Fuego Fridays Fired Up. Joining Hearts hosts an exciting lineup of international DJs each week @ Facebook Live, 10 p.m.

VLSC Records Watch Party. 3 Bears Gaming watches this online music event with their followers and gaymers @ Twitch, 10 p.m.

 

Saturday, June 13

Wild Cherry Sucret’s 10th Anniversary Funeral (photo). Doyenne Tony Kearney tried to kill of his drag persona, but she keeps resurrecting. 10 years after the first one, maybe this drag funderal will really, finally be it @ Facebook Live, 9 p.m.

Virtual Speed Dating with Lamont. Each Saturday, Better Way to Meet's Lamont Scales will be hosting an interactive virtual meet up for single guys. You don't want to miss this event. Each Saturday will be different.  Register in advance @ online, 8 p.m.

DJ J Warren. Bears are back as this popular DJ does his first post-quarantine gig in Atlanta. Limited entry and pandemic rules in effect @ Heretic, 10 p.m.

Xion Afterhours with DJ Karlito. Bars and clubs dipping their toes into reopening is this late-night dance @ BJ Roosters, 3 a.m.

Sunday Funday (photo). The weekly tradition of outdoor dudes, DJs, drinks and sometimes drag, now with a tiki vibe @ X Midtown, 4 p.m.
