Friday, Jan. 3

First Friday (top photo). Get your weekend started with DJ beats, performances and scores of women in Midtown’s home for Atlanta lesbian nightlife @ My Sister’s Room, 9 p.m.

Country Night. LGBTQ Boot scootin’ and line dancin’ with no cover @ Heretic, 8 p.m.

Indigo Girls. The duo’s El Refugio Benefit Show is expected to sell out @ Terminal West, 8 p.m.

The Other Show. Edie Cheezburger, Jaye Lish and the cast bring their brand of drag to their new home @ Midtown Moon, 9 p.m. 

Disco Hangover. Party with the cool kids @ Mary’s, 9 p.m.

Pullman Soul. House music sends you into overdrive @ Atlanta Eagle, 10 p.m.

Celestial Friday with Celeste Holmes puts the grrls on display for your entertainment and your dollars. Don’t forget Second Level beats upstairs @ Blake’s, 11 p.m.

Glitz & Glam Dinner Theater. Charlie Brown, the undisputed Bitch of the South and her gurlz entertain with dinner and a show amid the fancy theater experience of Atlanta’s premiere drag restaurant and bar. Make Reservations @ Lips Atlanta, 6 p.m., 9 p.m. and the Taboo Show at 11:30 p.m.

Fresh Fish Friday & Moonlight Cabaret. The new faces of Fresh Fish drag show wrap your week, then the drag eleganza of Moonlight Cabaret starts the weekend @ Midtown Moon, 8 p.m. and 11 p.m.

Saturday, Jan. 4

DILF: Strapped (middle photo). Get down with the shirtless dancing gays @ Heretic 10 p.m.

Drag Queen Brunch. The new party at a queer foodie fave continues with DJ beats after the show @ Twisted Soul, 12 noon. 

#Daydrunk. Drink specials put you to bed early or make you the life of the party as the sun drops @ Mary’s, 2:30 p.m. Do it, and you may not remember what you did during the regularly scheduled shenanigans, 9 p.m.

Glitz & Glam with Charlie Brown. The Bitch of the South and her girls entertain with dinner and a show in the theater experience of Atlanta’s drag restaurant and bar. Make reservations @ Lips Atlanta, 6 p.m., 9 p.m. and the Taboo Show at 11:30 p.m. 

Outworlders Game Night. Bring your games, friends and unwanted holiday gifts for a White Elephant Exchange with Atlanta’s LGBTQ gaymers and geeks @ Metropolitan Library, 7 p.m.

Ruby’s Redd Light District & Moonlight Cabaret. Queens on the scene @ Midtown Moon, 8 p.m. and 11p.m.

Queerly Beloved End of Year Bash. Candida Valentina returns to Atlanta for an out-of-the-box variety revue of burlesque, drag, cirque and more @ Red Light Café, 8 p.m.

New Year Turnup. DJ Ksquared spins for the ladies-loving-ladies crowd @ My Sister’s Room, 9 p.m.

Onesie Party. A wholly grown up and male kind of all-night pajama party leaves you breathless @ Atlanta Eagle, 10 p.m. 

Pop! Popup drag and Popup men werqs Saturday night into a frenzy @ Blake’s, 10 p.m.

Midtown Saturday Night. Gather at the corner of Gay & Gay Streets and get your gay guy gaggle on @ Ten, 10 p.m.

Heyday. DJ Kimber’s straight-inclusive 80’s dance party for every freakin’ body @ The Basement, 11 p.m.

Xion Afterhours. DJ Karlitos takes the helm and steers you toward the sunrise @ Xion at BJ Roosters, 3 a.m.

Sunday, Jan. 5

Armorettes. The camp drag crazies with the hearts of gold against AIDS (bottom photo) are in their 41st year of weekly shows @ Midtown Moon, 8 p.m.

Golden Globes. Gather your gays for the globes, or visit your favorite show bar for screenings, because Rocketman, Pain and Glory and Portrait of a Lady on Fire are among the nominees @ NBC, 8 p.m.

Super-Sized Sunday. First, it’s High Energy and DJ Bill Berdeaux, 1 p.m., then the legendary Sunday drag show kicks off with an all-star cast @ Blake's, 8:30 p.m.

Sporty Sunday Funday. Games and matches on screen, plus all the guys to watch them with @ Woofs, 12 noon.

Drag Brunch Theatre. The Sisters of Sequins with Bubba D. Licious at the wheel while you eat @ Lips, 12:30 p.m. Walk-ins welcome. Or sleep in and do Dinner with the Divas, 6:30 p.m.

Heifer Review. Ruby Redd corrals the queens on the patio, this week with the bonus of being HSL’s Extra Inning Beer Bust @ Midtown Moon, 1 p.m. 

Drag Me to Brunch. Good grub and cool queens serve Sunday vibes @ My Sister’s Room, 2 p.m.

Charmaine Sinclair's Sunday Tea Dance. Underwear models music and more @ Midtown Moon, 3 p.m. This week, you can drink to benefit World AIDS Day charities.

Sunday Funday. The weekly tradition of outdoor dudes, DJs, drinks and sometimes drag @ Ten, 4 p.m. Stick around. It’s Showtune Sundays featuring videos and singalongs with DJ Adam Bland, 8 p.m.

Literature Night. Franklin Abbott hosts authors and writers Joe Barry Carroll, Phoenicia D. Battle, Janet Metzger, The Duchess of Grant Park, and Adam Washington over coffee @ Waller Coffee Shop, 6:30 p.m.

Queer AF. D’Knighten Day hosts the most diverse king and queen cast in town, with a dance party to boot @ My Sister’s Room, 11 p.m. Get there early for L Word Watch, swag and trivia, 9 p.m.
