Whether you’re a Hot Mess, LGBTQ organizer, queer for queens or easy for dance parties, gay Atlanta has your ticket to ride this Friday through Sunday.

Friday, Jan. 21

Hot Mess. They know who they are, and they know what they do. DJ Kimber and her party crew create dance-pop messiness @ The Basement, 10 p.m.

Friday BBQ. Atlanta’s gay sports bar does in-person as well as to-go food and cocktails. Fridays are extra special with a taste-escape to backyard ‘cues @ Woofs, 11:30 a.m. – 10 p.m.

F* Friday. Drop in on a full day and night of anything goes. When the sun goes down, find DJ Mr. Richard on deck @ Hideaway, 2 p.m. – 3 a.m.

Glitz & Glam Dinner Theater. Atlanta’s only drag dinner and a show experience in the loungey surrounds of premiere drag restaurant and bar. Make Reservations @ Lips Atlanta, 6 p.m., 9 p.m. and the Taboo Show at 11:30 p.m.

Fantasy Girls. Phoenix and Taejah Thomas headline two dinner-show experiences with Lala Ri, Trinity Bonet and Raquel Heart in the show bar @ Future, 6:30 p.m. and 9 p.m.

Atlanta Rainbow Trout Water Polo. The LGBTQ team practices every week @ Georgia Tech Aquatic Center, 7:30 p.m. Same again on Tuesdays, 7:30 p.m. First two practices free.

MSR: Fem Friday. Women who love women who love two indoor levels of fun and outdoor parties too @ My Sister’s Room, 9 p.m. – 3 a.m.

House of Legends. Drag, drinks, dancers and a DJ @ X Midtown, 10 p.m.

Madams of the Moonlight. Legendary queens doing legendary things @ Midtown Moon, 10 p.m.

Medusa: Café Con Leche. Latin Fridays finds its home @ Future, 11 p.m.

Saturday, Jan. 22

London DJ Tom Stephan loves his ATL boys, and they love him right back @ Heretic, 10 p.m.

Front Runners. One of two weekly group runs with Atlanta’s LGBTQ @ John Howell Park, 9 a.m.

Daydrunk. Drink specials put you to bed early or make you the life of the party when the sun drops @ Mary’s, 2 p.m. You’ll be primed for Welcome to the Dancefloor, 9 p.m.

Glitz & Glam. Queens do dinner and a show in Atlanta’s drag restaurant and bar. Make reservations @ Lips Atlanta, 6 p.m., 9 p.m. and the Taboo Show at 11:30 p.m.

Fantasy Girls. Phoenix and Destiny Brooks headline two dinner-show experiences with Shawnna Brooks, Extasy Grey and Cici Nicole in the show bar @ Future, 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Eyeball these photos from the fun.

Armorettes 43rd Anniversary Show. The camp queens with hearts of gold raising HIV/AIDS money one dollar at a time celebrate an amazing 43 years with regulars and faces from the past @ Heretic, 8 p.m.

Pop! DJ Nova does the music and video party gays and gals need @ Blake’s 9 p.m.

LMAO with Milk & Dahli. The Rupaul fave and the Dragula winner join forces with local queens for a show @ My Sister’s Room, 10 p.m.

Midtown Saturday Night. Gather your gay-guy gaggle @ X Midtown, 10 p.m.

Deca-Dance.  DJ Darlene spins tunes while you enjoy drink specials @ Hideaway, 10 p.m.

Divas of the Moonlight. Myah Ross Monroe, Angelica D’Paige Brooks and more @ Midtown Moon, 10 p.m.

Xion Afterhours ft. DJ J. Warren. The Underground’s gay club keeps you jumpin’ into the wee hours @ Believe Music Hall, 3 a.m. – 7 a.m.

 

Rupaul alum Milk headlines MSR on Saturday night and City Winery for Sunday brunch.

Sunday, Jan. 23

Bottoms Up! Brunch with Milk from RPDR. After an MSR show last night, what you need is some more Milk @ City Winery, 11:30 a.m.

Drag Brunch. The Sisters of Sequins at the wheel while you eat in dinner-theater style @ Lips, 12:30 p.m.

Atlanta Rainbow Trout Swimming. The local LGBTQ swimming club practices @ Georgia Tech Aquatic Center, 12 noon. Same again on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7:30 p.m. First two practices free.

Sunday Brunch & Heifer Review. Ruby Redd emcees the queens while you eat up and drink down @ Midtown Moon, 1 p.m. Later, there’s the Other Side of the Moon drag show, 9 p.m.

LGBTQ Advocacy Training. Georgia Equality teaches what you need to know to advocate with legislators during the current session @ Online Classroom, 1 p.m. Register here.

The ‘T’ with Mother. Get the day going with drink specials and DJ Rob Reum, then keep it going with Honey Pot Bear Night @ Hideaway, 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Sunday Funday. Gather at the rainbow crosswalks, then step into one of gay Atlanta’s biggest bar traditions. Cocktails, food, shows and fun @ X Midtown, 4 p.m. through 12 midnight.

MSR: Brunch & Bubbly. Eat, drink, and the merry drag show starts at 4 p.m. @ My Sister’s Room, 2 p.m. Now every Sunday is also Switch! Sunday, 8 p.m.

Shameless Sunday. Kyra Mora hosts the fun with Brigitte Bidet and Shawnna Brooks in the cabaret and DJ Kevin Durard in the club @ Future, 8 p.m. The dance floor pops anew with DJ Karlitos, 12 a.m.
