No matter how your week has gone, there’s still time to turn it around in your favor. Atlanta’s LGBT weekend events make our list. Just like the bathroom wall says, for a good time, call.

Friday, July 8

The Naked Magic Show (top photo). It’s not a euphemism. Two talented magicians do their act while completely disrobing. Get an eyeful @ Buckhead Theatre, 7 p.m. Two Saturday shows too.

Spice at Slice. 20 years to the day since the Spice Girls descended on the U.S., gay Atlantans team up on a definitive book. With a launch party, of course @ Slice, 7:30 p.m. Read our interview.

Friday T. DJ Kevin Durard puts his spin on the weekly man-on-man dance party @ Heretic, 10 p.m.

Boys Room. Come hang out with the cool kids @ Mary’s, 9 p.m.

The Other Show.  Come to the unique weekly drag cabaret with an eclectic cast and special guests that always pack a surprise @ Jungle, 9:30 p.m

Deadly Vixens puts the grrls on display for your entertainment and your dollars, plus Second Level beats upstairs @ Blake’s, 9 p.m.

Femme Fatale puts the drag glamazons on display each week. Get your singles ready for premiere Atlanta queens @ Burkhart’s, 11 p.m.

Glitz & Glam Dinner Theater. Charlie Brown, the undisputed Bitch of the South and her gurlz entertain with dinner and a show amid the fancy theater experience of Atlanta’s premiere drag restaurant and bar. Make Reservations @ Lips Atlanta, 6 p.m., 9 p.m. and the Taboo Show at 11:30 p.m.

Friday Night Dance Party. Another weekly way to kick off your weekend just hit 10th Street. See what you can get into @ G’s, 10 p.m.

Ladies Lounge. Get your lesbian weekend started with a DJ-driven dance party, live performances and scores of women in the new Midtown home of Atlanta lesbian nightlife @ My Sister’s Room, 9 p.m.

Crush Friday turns up the volume on its weekly gay Latin party with stage shows and dancing into the wee hours @ Club Rush, 10 p.m. – 5 a.m. 


Saturday, July 9

DJ Grind (middle photo). He’s talented. He’s sexy. He’s your ticket to Dancing Queen heaven @ Heretic, 10 p.m.

Gentlemen’s Foundation Beer Bust. The event promoters and issue-drivers for local gay men of color throw this bottomless-brew fundraiser @ Joe’s, 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Atlanta Pride Open Call for Trans Dancers. With a new concept and a Beyonce-inspired “Trans-Formation” theme, become a part of this year’s Trans March at Pride in October that’s high on production value. Shake your thing for the committee @ Rush Center, 12 noon – 2 p.m.

80s Underground #Daydrunk. Drink specials put you to bed early or make you the life of tonight’s party @ Mary’s, 2 p.m. – 8 p.m. Do it, and you may not remember what you did during regularly schedule shenanigans, 9 p.m.

Jocks in Jerseys. Wear your team spirit with all the other jocks, athletic supporters, and gay sports fans @ Woofs, 9 p.m.

Synergy turns up the volume on Saturday night and blows your ever-loving mind with glamazons working for your dollars @ Burkhart's, 11 p.m.

Glitz & Glam with Charlie Brown. The self-titled Bitch of the South and her girls entertain with dinner and a show in the theater experience of Atlanta’s drag restaurant and bar. Make reservations @ Lips Atlanta, 6 p.m., 9 p.m. and the Taboo Show at 11:30 p.m. 

GlitterBomb werqs Saturday night with a drag show hosted by Edie Cheezburger, a cast of premiere queens and special guests @ Blake’s, 10 p.m.

DJ Morabito All Nighter. Don’t stop ‘til you get enough. Dance until you need sunglasses to leave @ Xion, 3 a.m. – 7 a.m.


Sunday, July 10

Sunday Service with DJ Vicki Powell (bottom photo). The edgy gays on Edgewood open the patio to all comers for summer’s best monthly dance party @ Sister Louisa’s Church of the Living Room & Ping Pong Emporium, 7 p.m.

Stand with Orlando. Just Toby and Atlanta’s gay sports bar donate shot sales, raffle proceeds and part of food sales to the Pulse Orlando fund @ Woofs, 4 p.m.

Drag Brunch presents the Sisters of Sequins with Bubba D. Licious at the wheel while you eat @ Lips (bottom photo), 12:30 p.m. Walk-ins welcome. Or sleep in and do Dinner with the Divas, 6:30 p.m.

Sunday Funday wraps your weekend just the way you like it: with all your gays plus DJs Rob Reum and Robert Ansley @ Ten Atlanta, 5 p.m. – midnight

Midtown Rouge. Get to gettin' with High Energy and DJ Bill Berdeaux, 1 p.m., then the Sunday drag show kicks its latest, most fabulous iteration @ Blake's, 8 p.m.

Armorettes: Madonna Night. Atlanta’s camp drag crazies against HIV do their weekly good in the gayborhood @ Burkhart’s, 7:30 p.m.

Tossed Salad. The magic and madness masterminded by Brigitte Bidet and her left-of-center queens @ Burkhart’s, 9:30 p.m.
