You’d think that as winter wears on, events would wane. Nope. Gay Atlanta keeps up the pace and shifts into overdrive with ever-more parties, performances, games and gatherings. Get into it.

Friday, Feb. 27

The Other Show: Myths & Legends most unique drag cabaret in town with regulars like Edie Cheezburger and Jaye Lish (top photo) and special guests to blow your mind, this week with storybook fantasies on the big stage in the main room  @ Jungle, 9:30 p.m. One of the cast is already winning “RuPaul’s Drag Race.”

AGLCC Fourth Friday invites you to wind down from the workweek cocktailing with the LGBT professionals of the Atlanta Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce @ the Corbel Group, 5:30 p.m.

“The C.A. Lyons Project” world-premieres its AIDS story told through drama and dance @ Alliance Theatre, 8 p.m. Runs through March 8.

Pump: Sports Gear Party pulls all the guys onto gay Atlanta’s hot man-on-man dance floor, this week with DJ Sean Mac and the Atlanta Bucks inviting your sports fetish [email protected] Heretic, 8 p.m.

Boys Room. One two, you know what to do. Three, four come on through the door @ Mary’s, 9 p.m.

Ladies Lounge: Babewatch Edition gets your lesbian weekend started with a DJ-driven dance party, live performances and scores of women @ My Sister’s Room, 9 p.m.

Deadly Vixens drag show puts the goils on display for your entertainment and your dollars late, along with DJ Mike Pope’s Second Level @ Blake’s, 9 p.m.

Femme Fatale puts the drag glamazons on display each week. Get your singles ready for premiere Atlanta queens @ Burkhart’s, 11 p.m.

Chaparral Nights amps up a weekly gay Latin night with stage shows, dancing and more @ Club Rush, 10 p.m. – 5 a.m.


Saturday, Feb. 28

DJ Tony Ruggiero. The hottie with the body who also knows how to spin you hits gay Atlanta with One Magical Weekend ticket giveaways. They always party like rock stars (middle photo) @ Jungle, 10:30 p.m. Get there early for the weekly Fantasy Girls show, 9 p.m.

Deadbeat #Daydrunk. Drink specials put you to bed early or make you the life of tonight’s party @ Mary’s, 2 p.m. – 8 p.m. Do it, and you may not remember regularly scheduled shenanigans later on, 9 p.m.

“Figure & Form.” A reception accompanies the annual one-night-only sculpture show featuring work by 11 artists in the gay-owned spaces @ pb&j galleries, 7 p.m.

Early Country, Late Night Dance offers line dancing and two stepping after the sun goes down, then DJ beats pick up the pace until close @ Heretic, 8 p.m. and 12 midnight.

Gear Night Sex Party. A hop, skip and jump from other Cheshire Bridge corridor gayness, wear your pup, spandex, leather, jock, uniform and other fetishwear to the all-night sex club @ Manifest4U, 9 p.m. – 6 a.m.

Saturday Night Live. Drag king Owen McCord hosts the entertainers who’ll perform amid lesbian Atlanta’s favorite dance party @ My Sister’s Room, 9 p.m.

Synergy turns up the volume on Saturday night and blows your ever-loving mind with glamazons working for your dollars @ Burkhart's, 11 p.m.

GlitterBomb werqs Saturday night with a drag show hosted by Genre, a cast of premiere queens and special guests. DJ and video beats plus more cute boys than you can handle @ Blake’s, 10 p.m.

DJ Twisted Dee All Nighter moves you all the way to sunrise, just steps away from BJs, Heretic and Jungle. Never stop shaking your ass @ Xion, 3 a.m. – 7 a.


Sunday, March 1

Flap Jokes. Hot cakes and hot comedy combine for a pancake supper of comics with gay Atlanta’s own Ian Aber (bottom photo) as host and headliner Remi Treuer @ the Hangar, 4:30 p.m.

Drag Gospel Brunch presents the Sisters of Sequins with Bubba D. Licious at the wheel while you eat @ Lips, 12:15 doors, 1:30 p.m. show.

Sunday Funday. DJ Rob Reum gives you the weekend closing party that you so deeply desire @ Ten Atlanta, 5 p.m. – midnight.

High Energy & Cell Block Sunday. Get to gettin' with DJ Bill Berdeaux, 3 p.m., then the Cell Block drag show with Lateasha Shuntel, Raquell Lord, Shawnna Brooks, Nicole Paige Brooks and Taejah Thomas @ Blake's, 8 p.m.

Sex Kitten Sunday with Angelica D’Paige corralling the queens @ 10th & Piedmont, 8 p.m.

The Armorettes: Hidey Awards. Those local camp crazies throw down their weekly show for tips against HIV/AIDS in Atlanta, this time with fan votes tallied from Best Dressed to “Can’t Dance” @ Hideaway, 8 p.m.

Tossed Salad. The magic and madness masterminded by Brigitte Bidet, her left-of-center queens, and DJ King Atlas rock their weekly drag show and dance party @ Burkhart’s, 9 p.m.
