You’ve been waiting all week, you thought it would never get here, but the weekend doesn’t disappoint. Weigh your options to put some LGBT in gay Atlanta’s Friday through Sunday events. Click the ones that catch your eye for more details.

Friday, June 8
Southeast Leatherfest (top photo) continues with a weekend full of contests, intensives, dungeon play and vendors @ Holiday Inn Select Downtown, 8 p.m.

OurSong’s “And Nature Smiled” Concert by Atlanta’s co-ed LGBT chorus (second photo) celebrates the creative beauty of nature in song @ St. Bartholomew’s Church, 8 p.m. Saturday performance at Spivey Hall, too. And don’t forget OurSong’s new CD.

Sunset Garden party offers cocktail specials on weekend nights for charity, tonight with DJ Christopher Kind benefiting the MISTER Center @ Burkhart’s, 7 p.m.

Fourth Tuesday Happy Hour brings together members of this longtime lesbian social group for a monthly cocktail klatch @ Mixx Atlanta, 8 p.m.

DJ Mike Pope (third photo), one of gay Atlanta’s favorite DJs, brings an encore performance to pump beats onto the dance floor @ Heretic, 10 p.m.

El Papi del Dio 2012 competition determines the hot male winner during Friday’s Got Leche Latin Night, which also includes a performance by Isabella Caliente @ Club Rush, 10 p.m.

Dance Fever: House Party Edition rocks the house with DJ M and the good times of Bobby Brown, McLyte, Kid N Play and Salt N Pepa @ My Sister’s Room, 9 p.m.

Saturday, June 9
NFFLA Flag Football Playoffs (fourth photo) open with five match ups for the gay league @ Boulevard Crossing, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. View pics from last week’s final regular-season games.

Author Elliott Mackle reading from his work is the first guest of SAGE Atlanta’s “Coffee, Bagels and…” event for LGBT elders. Mackle is a former AJC food critic, Creative Loafing columnist and novelist of “It Takes Two” and “Captain Harding’s Six Day War” @ Rush Center, 11 a.m.

Fourth Tuesday Singles Brunch invites all single lesbians to mix, munch and mingle with members of this venerable women’s social group @ Radial Cafe, 11:30 a.m.

“Unmasked: Phantom of the Flopera” (eighth photo) sends up the classic with original music as well as queens, frenemies, lesbians, a dominatrix in a politically incorrect parody to hilariously offend all parties via the Spirit of Broadway troupe @ First MCC, 8 p.m. Read and watch our preview.

Cupcake’s Cotillion Kickoff starts the fundraising for Atlanta Cotillion 2012 deb Jose Guillen – aka Maria Francesca Della Catessen “Cupcake” Gonzaga – who is vying to raise the most money this year for AID Atlanta. Expect booze, boys and rowdiness @ 3 p.m.

The Armorettes (bottom photo) infamous camp drag queens of the South bring their weekly HIV/AIDS fundraising show and special guests to Burkhart’s, 8 p.m.

DJ Vicki Powell’s Sunday Service returns to the patio @ Sister Louisa’s Church of the Living Room & Ping Pong Emporium bar, 7 p.m.
