You work hard for the money, so gay Atlanta better treat you right. They do, this week with shows, parties, celebrity guests and LGBT special events that make the workweek so worth it.

Friday, Nov. 14

Aaron Carter (top photo) lands in Atlanta. He's more grown up but still knows how to work his gay-allied twink factor on tour with Amanda Hale, Kz, and Liberty Deep Down @ The Loft, 9p.m. Cutie Carter likes to stick his hands in his pants for his gays.

“The Way He Looks.” This year's Out On Film darling returns for a theatrical run of its own @ Landmark Midtown Art Cinema, all week.

Straight No Chaser. The gay-inclusive a cappella group hits the stage for one night only @ Fox Theatre, 8 p.m.

Cirque du Soleil: Amaluna Final Weekend closes out its run this weekend @ Fox Theatre, 7:30 p.m. Performances through Sunday.

Bitch, Please dance party serves alterqueer realness in East Atlanta. Also catch the local radical faeries upstairs in the Boozy Cougar @ Mary’s, 9 p.m.

The Other Show: Jaye Lish Birthday Show serves up the most unique drag cabaret in town. She’s so unusual, this week with a “diet pills and Sharpies” twist @ Jungle, 9:30 p.m.

Macho Night. The weekly man-on-man dance party gets a Latin twist with Macho Productions. It’s 18 to party, 21 to drink @ Heretic, 10 p.m.

Ladies Lounge gets your lesbian weekend started with a DJ-driven dance party, live performances and scores of women @ My Sister’s Room, 9 p.m.

Femme Fatale puts the drag glamazons on display each week. Get your singles ready for premiere Atlanta queens @ Burkhart’s, 11 p.m.

Daring Divas lays it on thick. Lena Lust, Shawnna Brooks, Lateasha Shuntel, Chavon Scott and Niesha Dupree. The crowd goes wild @ Blake’s, 11 p.m.

DJ Robert Ansley turns up the House @ Atlanta Eagle, 10 p.m.

Men’s Night lets you in on the show and specials that get all the OTP gays rockin @ LeBuzz, Marietta, 9 p.m.

Chaparral Nights amps up a weekly gay Latin night with stage shows, dancing and more @ Club Rush, 10 p.m. – 5 a.m.


Saturday, Nov. 15

Bear Invasion Atlanta (middle photo) returns with its hairy, bear-y twist on your gay Saturday night. DJ John LePage returns to the scene of his last dance-floor annihilation, and Sean Mac opens @ Heretic, 9 p.m. It’s always hot, hunky and hairy. As in, yummy.

Andy Cohen. Bravo’s gay gray fox and “Real Housewives” guru cranks up that smile and turns on that charm to pimp “The Andy Cohen Diaries: A Deep Look at a Shallow Year” @ Book Festival of the MJCCA, 5342 Tilly Mill Road, Dunwoody, 8 p.m. The LGBT-driven Soujourn group is in the house. Use coupon code SOUJOURN for ticket discounts. We love us some Andy, and he wants to see you naked. Yeah, he knows how to draw a crowd.

Shakespeare Follies: Histories Part 2 rethinks the Bard through a modern, sketch-comedy, circus-act lens. For a good time, call this gay-led and gay-inclusive troupe of actors and performers @ Smith’s Olde Bar, 8 p.m.

Caroline Herring and Heather Maloney. Girls with guitars that bring all the lesbians to the yard return @ Eddie’s Attic, 7 p.m.

Armorettes Follies turns the camp drag against HIV into a backroom burlesque for this monthly show @ Heretic, 8 p.m.

Raw Talent: Duets. This weeks challenge finds the kings and queens together as they vie for a crown in the weekly elimination competition. Of course it all goes down during the biggest lesbian dance party @ My Sister’s Room, 9 p.m.

Wacked Out BlackOut is back. Turn down the lights and slather on the neon paint. It’s time to get messy and glow, baby, glow! Paint included when the #wobo dance party lands @ Jungle, 10:30 p.m. This party from the Bedlam party crew goes insane. Get there early for Ruby’s Redd Light District show, 9 p.m.

Synergy turns up the volume on Saturday night and blows your ever-loving mind with glamazons working for your dollars @ Burkhart's, 11 p.m.

GlitterBomb werqs Saturday night with a drag show hosted by Genre, a cast of premiere queens and special guests. DJ and video beats plus more cute boys than you can handle @ Blake’s, 10 p.m.

Divas Cabaret works some looks with Destiny Brooks on the mic for all the OTP gays @ LeBuzz, Marietta, 9 p.m.

DJ Moose NYC All Nighter moves you all the way to sunrise, just steps away from BJs, Heretic and Jungle. Never stop shaking your ass @ Xion, 3 a.m. – 7 a.


Sunday, Nov. 16

The Play Day New Play Marathon (bottom photo). A menagerie of talent hits the stage to read new works from the gay-helmed, gay-inclusive gang @ Process Theatre Company, 10 a.m. – 10 p.m.

Drag Gospel Brunch presents the Sisters of Sequins with Bubba D. Licious and the gurlz @ Lips, 12:15 doors, 1:30 p.m. show.

Sunday Funday. It's two parties in one with DJ Rob Reum inside and DJ Robert Ansley outside. All kinds of fun as you go back and forth @ Ten Atlanta, 4 p.m. – midnight.

High Energy & Cell Block Sunday. Get to gettin' with DJ Bill Berdeaux, 3 p.m., then the Cell Block drag show with Lateasha Shuntel, Raquell Lord, Shawnna Brooks, Nicole Paige Brooks and Taejah Thomas @ Blake's, 8 p.m.
