‘Heroes + Villains: Lost + Found” debuts the latest installment of gay Atlanta’s favorite photographic artist Phillip Bonneau’s nationally heralded, locally adored and much-ballyhooed exhibit series. He re-imagines classic comic characters with a queer eye, including “Flash Dance” (top photo). This time, the show benefits Lost N Found Youth @ Suite Spot, 6 p.m.
Out On Film continues Atlanta’s annual celebration of LGBT cinema through Oct. 10 with a full day of Friday films including “Hot Guys with Guns” (second photo) 9:05 p.m. Its director in the audience is just one of the hottest Out On Film hunks. Even more on tap including “I’m a Porn Star” documentary, 11:20 p.m. @ Midtown Art Cinema.
“Choir Boy” continues its heralded run of this play about a teen coming to grips with his fabulosity while navigating prep school @ Alliance Theater, 8 p.m. Runs through Oct. 13.
Dinner & A Movie: “The Wedding Singer” kicks off Jungle’s Friday with dragster Jaye Lishe, a different screening each week, and great menu specials in the Jungle Room @ Jungle, 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Sit. Stay. It’s time for The Other Show cast and guests, 9:30 p.m.
