The weekend hits on Halloween to make both bigger and gayer. All dressed up and no place to go? We got your LGBT Houston events right here for the big night, Dia de los Muertos and beyond.

Friday, Oct. 31

Work your costume inspiration (top photo). We have couples costume ideas too. But look out. These gays are way ahead of you.

Marriage Protections in the 14th Ammendment. Get the scoop from renowned legal experts on how the Equal Protection clause of the Consitution may already provide your equal gay marriage @ UH Law Center, 8:30 a.m.

TurntUp Halloween with Chi Chi Larue. Everybody’s favorite porn maven rocks an All Hallows DJ set with porn star Armond Rizzo in tow. Bring your best for the huge costume contest as well @ South Beach, 9 p.m. Look for Armond at Meteor tonight and Saturday as well.

Hairy Halloween Block Party. A bear-y new costume block party that’s out to rival the one you knew. Hit Hyde Park Street in costume for a costume contest, DJ JD Arnold, Sushi Valk and a new experience @ Eagle Houston, 9 p.m.

Halloween Happy Hour Lounge. You know what’s up. Happy hour to wee hours @ Guava Lamp, 9 p.m.

Porn Star Armond Rizzo strips with the Shower Boys. The adult film star performs live in the first of two nights shaking his money maker @ Meteor, 9 p.m. Saturday too.

This is Halloween Country. It’s always time for two-steppin’ and line-dancin’, this week with a $250 costume contest hosted by Tye Blue @ Neon Boots. Dance lessons 7:30 p.m., Boot scootin’, 9 p.m. 

True Blood Party. Gay Houston’s biggest Halloween event goes down on Pacific Street with your fruit-loop headquarters @ JR’s, 8 p.m. Costume contest, 11 p.m.

Drop Dead Gorgeous Halloween Costume Contest invites your best look and offers prizes if you meet the challenge. Pluse drinks and other fun of course @ F Bar, 9 p.m.

Good vs. Evil Halloween Weekend gets started with DJ beats and your best renditions of good and evil, sexy and sophisticated, naughty or nice. Work that look @ Bayou City Bar & Grill, 9 p.m. Saturday too.


Saturday, Nov. 1

Armond Rizzo and Chi Chi Larue (middle photo). The porn stud strips with the Shower Boys in the second of two nights shaking his money maker, and the porn diva spins the beats @ Meteor, 9 p.m.

Fall Ball. The gay pitchers and catchers hit the diamond for autumn games @ Houston Sportsplex, 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.

LHI Health Fair. Free mammograms, paps, well person exams, heart and vascular assessments, OB/GYN talks, Affordable Care Act advice and more @ Houston Community Services, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Dia De Los Muertos Halloween Foam Party.  Dress up to mess up in 10,000 cubic feet of foam on the dance floor and EDM beats all night. It’s the last foamy dance floor of the year @ South Beach, 9 p.m.

Good vs. Evil Halloween Weekend continues with DJ beats and your best looks of good and evil, sexy and sophisticated, naughty or nice. Work that Dios De Las Muertos @ Bayou City Bar & Grill, 9 p.m.

Dance Your Ass Off Halloween Costume Party @ Blur, 9 p.m.

Country Dance. Before there was Gilley’s, there was the Esquire Ballroom. Now the legendary space is where your gay-ass boots meet the beat @ Neon Ballroom, 9 p.m.

Pop Realness to the People. Do what you do, and they’ll take care of the rest @ F Bar, 9 p.m.

Sound Factory Saturday. One, two, you know what to do @ Guava Lamp, 9 p.m.

Houston LGBT Positive Impact Day. To counter the HERO haters with love, bring your rainbow spirit (bottom photo), non-perishable food items, and clothing for donation to this rally of positivity for a better LGBT Htown @ Montrose Grace Place, 2 p.m.

Sunday Funday parties hard until you absolutely have to go home and start your workweek @ Bayou City Bar & Grill, 12 noon.

Bust Sundays. It’s you and your brew crew for the cheapest vodka and draft you’ll find. Don’t let the weekend getaway without one more round @ Ripcord, 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.

F Latin Divas Debut. Girl, it’s a one of a kind extravaganza, and you have a front-row seat. See the beginning of a beautiful thing with Aria Crawford, Jourdin Crawford, Laisha Larue, Lucero Montiel and Tatiana Mala-Nina @ F Bar, 10 p.m. Beforehand, get you some Retox Sunday and shut down the weekend. These queens know what you need, and you’re going to get it @ F Bar, 6 p.m. This shit gets crazy.
