The weekend hits in combination with Halloween to make both bigger and gayer. All dressed up with no place to go? From big gay costume contests and parties to special guests, we've got your LGBT Atlanta Halloween events right here.

Friday, Oct. 31

Get your costume inspiration (top photo, for starters). Yep, we delved into your couples looks too. But beware. These gays are way ahead of you. Like, costumes as an art form.

Halloweenie. The 10th annual party features a costume contest, monster movie mashups, plus DJ Headmaster Ritual and Senior Cajones @ Mary’s, 9 p.m.

Blake’s Costume Contest with Jean Kelley. “The Voice” contestant helps three days of Halloween continue. Nicole Paige Brooks plays host to your costumes vying for $2,000 in cash and prizes @ Blake’s, 10 p.m.

2014 Skeleton Ball. The winner of this costume contest gets $500, and the runner up gets cash and prizes as you bump to the beat of Daryl Cox inside and Seth Breezy outside @ Ten. Contest at 11 p.m.

Costume Contest & Femme Fatale puts the drag glamazons on display per your fave, but get ready for the first of three nights to win cash and prizes. Real. Scary. Fun @ Burkhart’s, 9 p.m.

Machoween Maskqueerade. The weekly man-on-man dance party gets a Latin twist with Macho Productions, DJs Chiruco and Mike Pope, Bubba D. Licious and $2,014 in costume contest cash and [email protected] Heretic, 10 p.m. Heretic doesn't mess around.

The Other Show: Halloween Edition serves up the most unique drag cabaret in town, this time with a ghoulish twist. She’s so unusual @ Jungle, 9:30 p.m.

Nightmare on Ponce II: Asylum. It’s an interactive madhouse of horrors with the Panther L/L group as scary patients of the ward @ Atlanta Eagle, 10 p.m.

Halloween Swank lays down its monthly women’s jam at the hotspot on the corner of Gay and Lesbian, this month with a $500 costume contest @ 10th & Piedmont, 10 p.m.

Ladies Lounge: Walking Dead gets your lesbian weekend started with a DJ-driven dance party, live performances and scores of women. Of course, it’s spookier on Halloween with a cash costume contest @ My Sister’s Room, 9 p.m.

Atlanta Whore-A-Story: Freak Show. The Whore-ific Weekend kicks off for the stripper-filled, costume-loving, drink-special guzzling gays @ BJ Roosters, 10 p.m.

Evil Queens Cabaret. The dinner and a drag show you love gets a Halloween makeover @ Lips, 8 p.m.

Ruby’s House of Horrors. You know who on the mic for this $600 costume contest and all the fun you can fit through the back door @ Hideaway, 11 p.m.

Tricks or Treats. Do what you do with $666 in cash and prizes to costume contest winners @ Amsterdam, 9 p.m. Contest at midnight.

OTP Halloween lets you in on the show and specials that get all the suburban gays rockin @ LeBuzz, Marietta, 9 p.m.

CarnEvil turns your usual experience on this end of Ansley into an ongoing costume contest with prizes. Darlene Majewski and Naomi Munroe host @ Felix, 10:30 p.m.

Got Leche? Halloween Mask-Queer-ade amps up the weekly gay Latin night featuring stage shows, dancing and more @ Club Rush, 10 p.m. – 5 a.m.,

Madeon Halloween. Mix Latin gay fabulosity with costume revelry and shake well @ Opera, 9 p.m.

DJ Karlitos Halloween All Nighter moves you all the way to sunrise, just steps away from BJs, Heretic and Jungle. Never stop shaking your ass @ Xion, 3 a.m. – 7 a.


Saturday, Nov. 1

Halloween Apocalypse with DJ Alex Acosta. The Mexico City phenom descends on the ATL to make your costume party dreams come true. Catch his beats while you prep for the $1,000 contest during gay Atlanta's favorite dance party @ Jungle, 10 p.m. Get there early for a special edition of Ruby’s Redd Light District show, 9 p.m. These people know how to do it right (middle photo).

Work your look. Yep, couples costume ideas are waiting for you too. But heads up: These gays are already winning.

Chastain Park Arts Festival. The gay-run ‘hood haunts continue with vendors, music, and outdoor fun @ Chastain Park, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Sunday too.

Ruck-A-Buck Tournament. The gay rugby guys huddle up and get serious rubbing up against each other and four other visiting teams @ 1820 Mary Dell Drive SE, 9 a.m. Look out for the Ruck-A-Buck Third Half Party @ Frogs, 4 p.m. You can also hit the official Ruck-A-Buck Afterparty @ Jungle, 10 p.m. Sunday brunch and beer bust below, too.

Fall Ball. The gay pitchers and catchers of Hotlanta Softball and Southern Softpaw close out their autumn games @ Southside Softball Complex, 10 a.m. Aftergames Afterparty, this week with the Wilde Ones team @ Hideaway, 4 p.m.

Haunted Hoedown. The fourth annual country cousins Halloween with costume contest hosted by Shenita Quit and two-step lessons in the first hour @ Heretic, 8 p.m.

Dia de los Muertos. Gather your gays for Mexican-themed drink specials, a Day of the Dead Costume Contest and DJ Chiruco @ Las Margaritas, 8 p.m. 

Lady Bunny Costume Contest. The one and only teases her hair even higher for Halloween to draw you into the costume fray with $2,000 in cash and prizes for best costumes @ Blake’s, 9 p.m. Blakes's knows what's up for getting down.

Fright Nights: Aftermath. Come in costume for a free drink as Nights of Frights continue @ Ten Atlanta.

Costume Contest & Synergy blows your ever-loving mind with the best drag glamazons, plus this week the second of three nights to win cash and prizes. Real. Scary. Fun @ Burkhart’s, 9 p.m.

Whore-ific Weekend continues with the stripper-filled, costume loving, drink-special guzzling gays @ BJ Roosters, 10 p.m.

Gurlfrandz: Day of the Drop Dead Divas. The off-center EAV queens take over with Lavonia Elberton as ghostest with the moistest. DJ 5 Hour Boner on the decks @ Mary’s, 10 p.m.

Raw Talent Halloween Edition. The kings and queens are still going for that weekly prize, only this time it’s with a Halloween twist. Look for all of the goodies plus a $200 costume contest during East Atlanta’s favorite lesbian dance party @ My Sister’s Room, 9 p.m.  No one does it quite like these ladies.

All Saints Day White Party makes you a vision in white as DJ Pat Scott spins. Now that’s a switch @ Atlanta Eagle, 10 p.m.

Katey Red Live. The bounce master hits with Cayenne Rouge, Lola Bundy, Chelsea Daggers, and DJ Ree De La Vega @ Drunken Unicorn, 9 p.m.

Spin Cycle Halloween puts DJ David Chait on the tables, Princess Charles on the mic, and $500 in costume contest pockets @ 10th & Piedmont, 10 p.m.

Marietta Pride Halloween. Rather than a one-day superfest, this year’s North Georgia Rainbow Coalition celebration wraps its fandango of Saturday nights this year with a Halloween 4 Health blowout @ LeBuzz, Marietta, 9:30 p.m.

Sunday, Nov. 2

Chastain Park Arts Festival (bottom photo). The year-round, gay-run park and 'hood haunts around town continue with vendors, music, and outdoor fun @ Chastain Park, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Drag Gospel Brunch presents the Sisters of Sequins with Bubba D. Licious and the gurlz @ Lips, 12:15 doors, 1:30 p.m. show.

Political Canvass for Bob Gibeling. The gay state House candidate invites all hands on deck for door knocking during early weekend voting @ District 54, 2 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Ruck-A-Buck Brunch. After a full Saturday of play, today finds the local gay Atlanta Bucks Rugby boys hosting their visiting teams for grub @ Publik House Atlanta, 11 a.m. Don't miss the Ruck-A-Buck Beer Bust as well. It benefits AIDS Walk Atlanta @ Frogs, 3 p.m.

Superhero Sunday. Two parties in one with DJ Rob Reum inside and DJ Robert Ansley outside. Wear your favorite Superhero costume, shirt or mask for a free drink @ Ten Atlanta, 4 p.m. – midnight.

Sex Kitten Cabaret finds Angelica D’Paige and DJ Shane Vaughn keeping the party going, this weekwith a $500 costume contest to boot @ 10th & Piedmont, 9 p.m.

Costume Contest throws down the third of three Halloween nights of cash and prizes. Real. Scary. Fun @ Burkhart’s, 8 p.m.

LockDown Sunday won't let you go, so you may as well settle in @ Atlanta Eagle, 7 p.m. – midnight.

High Energy & Cell Block Sunday. Get to gettin' with DJ Bill Berdeaux, 3 p.m., then the Cell Block drag show with Lateasha Shuntel, Raquell Lord, Shawnna Brooks, Nicole Paige Brooks and Taejah Thomas @ Blake's, 8 p.m.

The Armorettes. The weekly show from the camp crazies continues its weekly mission to drag for tips against HIV/AIDS in Atlanta @ Hideaway, 8 p.m.
