Brotastic swimmer Ryan Lochte – and several members of the U.S. Swim Team – spent the weekend in Atlanta logging his final tune-up before the Olympics in Rio. True to form, Lochte sexed up anywhere he went.
Whether showing off those Gold Medal abs in Georgia Tech's Aquatic Center, getting that new icy blue hair do at Akasa Salon on Edgewood Avenue or eating upscale at 5Church Atlanta in Midtown, Lochte enjoyed his time in the ATL – and we enjoyed gawking every chance we got.
Lochte last graced the Morning Fix before the London Games in 2012. But it's nice to see the 11-time Olympic medalist in Atlanta before heading to his fourth Olympic appearance. And Lochte isn't shy about showing off on Instagram. His 532,000 followers appreciate it.
Repost…. @poloralphlauren “Ryan is the most natural swimmer I’ve ever seen. It’s not only his physiology but his feel for the water. He’s [also] a very smart person who also has a big, big heart. There was this one time in Arizona when he couldn’t swim finals because he was injured, so he sat behind the stands and signed autographs for four hours with no recognition, no hoopla. That comes from a genuine place in his heart. That’s no marketing scheme; that’s just who he is.” — David Marsh, Ryan Lochte’s coach, on what makes the 11-time Olympic medalist great.
