Whether it’s as a former Blake’s co-owner and AJC columnist, in his current role as an ESPN magazine writer or as a CNN LGBT issues panelist, LZ Granderson is known to many in gay Atlanta. In a recent talk, he rips the notion of a “gay lifestyle,” much less a “gay agenda.”

Granderson is so much more than a writer on sports, gay issues and race. He’s also a gay dad and partner. It’s a “super duper evil gay lifestyle” that keeps him very, very busy. He has segued that career into public speaking, and after watching this video, you’ll see that he’s doing us all a favor when talking about his life in speeches to largely straight audiences.
