PLAY BALL: The Hotlanta Softball League continues its 2009 season at its new home on the fields of the Southside Softball Complex on Jonesboro Road in southeast Atlanta. 8 a.m.(View the Project Q Atlanta photo album from the league’s Opening Day.) Join the league for its post-action fundraiser at Las Margaritas on Cheshire Bridge Road hosted by the Wet Demons. 5 p.m.

TOUCHDOWN: The National Flag Football League of Atlanta continues its spring and summer season with a special day of games. The league, which usually plays on Saturdays, added a slate of Sunday action to make up for a rainout earlier in the season. MEGA PICNIC: The MEGA Family Project joins with the CDC’s Globe members for a Spring Fling picnic. 2 p.m.

imageSHAKEN: The Atlanta Gay Men’s Chorus completes its three-day run of “Shaken, Not Heard: Stories of Gay Men, Faith and Reconciliation.” The concert event is inspired by real-life struggles from members of the chorus and features a broad range of sacred and secular music. Oakhurst Baptist Church in Decatur. 3 p.m. $10 to $45

PURPLE DRESS: The Atlanta Bucks Rugby Football Club continues its recruitment efforts for the upcoming Purple Dress Run. Today, they set up at Woof’s on Piedmont Road from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
