Sunday: Four gay things to do today

Add this share

BIKE RIDE: Get up early with the Atlanta Pride Committee, which is hosting its first-ever Pride Ride. The event raises some much-needed cash for organizers of the annual Atlanta Pride Festival, while also providing a fun morning ride of 10 or 20 miles that starts at Stonecrest Mall in DeKalb Mall. 7:30 a.m. $25

PLAY BALL: The Hotlanta Softball League opens its 2009 season — after a week’s delay due to rain — at its new home on the fields of the Southside Softball Complex on Jonesboro Road in southeast Atlanta. 9 a.m.(View the Project Q Atlanta photo album from the league’s preseason clinic.)

EASTER BONNETS: The Atlanta Gay Men’s Chorus continues its busy spring event season with Put a Bonnet On It. The event at Blake’s on the Park is a fundraiser for the chorus. Wear a bonnet and you’ll receive a free shooter. 1 p.m. (View the Project Q Atlanta photo album from the AGMC’s Big Wig Party.)

TEA DANCE: Joining Hearts offers up Change of Seasons Tea Dance with DJ Mike Pope at Amsterdam. Mark your calendar for Joining Hearts 22, set for July 25. 4 p.m. $20
