• Sports and outdoors. Hotlanta Softball League Fall Ball (top photo) opens its season @ Piedmont Park, through 5 p.m., NFFLA Flag Football @ Grant Park, 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., and the annual Women’s Outdoor Network Picnic @ WD Thomson Park, 2 p.m.

• Wrap it up. The national transgender Southern Comfort Conference closes its five-day run with workshops, panels and activities all day @ Crown Plaza Ravinia.

• Free radicals. Dick, Dyke & Drag Derby with SONG @ Daniel Stanton Park, 1 p.m. – 5 p.m., and GlitterBomb ATL Poster Making Party (middle photo), 7 p.m. Preview GlitterBomb’s Pride plans.
