Sunday: 17 gay things to do in Atlanta today

imageJust your speed. Sunday is as active or as relaxed as you want to be, and today’s list of LGBT events follows suit: gear up for softball season’s opener, or downshift with brunch, parties and more.

Start the text tree. It’s time to break bread at gay-owned eateries. Breakfast & Brunch @ Ria’s Bluebird, through 3 p.m., Breakfast & Brunch @ Radial Cafe, through 3:30 p.m., and Papi’s Brunch Buffet @ Las Margaritas, through 4 p.m.

Opening Day. Hotlanta Softball League (top photo) opens season with games @ Southside Park, all day through 5 p.m., followed by this week’s Extra Inning Post-games Party with HSL’s MudPups @ The Hideaway (formerly New Order), 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Fashion show and cocktails for a cause. The givers who do Toy Party & Backpack in the Park now let you help kids get their dream prom attire during the first Project Prom with For The Kid In All Of Us @ W Midtown, 5 p.m.
