Sunday: 15 Atlanta Black Pride things to do

imageIt’s the biggest Black Gay Pride event Atlanta has ever seen through Monday. The reverence and revelry is already on fire and heats up from here. Here are links to today’s top events so you can weigh all the options.

According to organizers, events are subject to change. Click the websites at the end of each individual entry for last-minute switches.

Host hotel. Official Sunday events include Interfaith Service, 2:30-4:30 p.m., the Soulfood Poetry Slam & Jazz Brunch @ Loews Buckhead, 11 a.m., and the Unity Ball with TraxxGirls @ Loews Hotel, 4 p.m.

Splish, splash. Unity Pool Party features a performance by Frenchie Davis @ Piedmont Park Pool, 4 p.m.

image Noah’s hotness. The man who brought the sexy to “Noah’s Arc” signs his 16-month 2011 calendar. Get up close and personal at the Jensen Atwood calendar signing (middle photo) @ Outwrite, 2 p.m.

Start early. Alliance Prevention Ball @ Legends 5 p.m. – 1 a.m., Legendary White Affair for Women @ Park Tavern, 6 p.m., and the one and only Melba Moore sings live with Wassup N Atl @ Djangos, 7 p.m.
