imageAtlanta Pride unveiled a widely varied series of events to get your Pride on in the days and weeks leading up to its Oct. 9-10 festival in Piedmont Park. “Stride into Pride” takes you from this week all the way up to the main event.

Pride partners with party promoters, gay businesses, professional experts, religious groups and nightlife venues to create its broadest “Stride into Pride” lineup yet. It’s an accomplishment event organizers are proud of, says JP Sheffield, Pride’s executive director.

“We are excited that there are so many events surrounding the Pride Festival,” Sheffield says in the announcement. “These activities offer a wide range of options for anyone who may build their vacation around the Pride Festival, or for those local residents looking to get involved prior the weekend.”
