SoVo heads to Orlando, misses a new issue

Oh, snap. We went to Orlando and forgot to publish a newspaper. That’s the headline out of Southern Voice this week, which missed yet another publication date on Friday.

Their explanation? “Printing issues,” according to a Monday post on SoVo’s Facebook page. But the post below that — from four days earlier — plugged the paper’s trip to Gay Days in Orlando. Apparently, it was a pretty good party.

But no worries. SoVo promises a “new double feature” this Friday. Maybe they’ll make good on their promise in full-page ads in May for yet another publication — Eclipse — that was due to be stuffed inside SoVo in late May but hasn’t materialized.

We’d settle for just being able to find the paper when they say it’s supposed to hit the streets. That’s getting tougher and tougher.
