Southern Softpaw continues fall softball season

The Southern Softpaw League took advantage of stellar weather Saturday to play its third week of games, continuing its inaugural season and adding to a busy fall of gay softball.

imageThe league, which kicked off Sept. 26 to raise funds for several canine charities, hits the field again Oct. 24 to squeeze in a day of games between AIDS Walk Atlanta (Oct. 18) and the Atlanta Pride Festival (Oct. 31-Nov. 1).

Southern Softpaw offers another softball alternative for recreational athletes looking for a little outdoor fun. Hotlanta Softball League also offers its Fall Ball, while the Decatur Women’s Sports League plays softball through Nov. 6.
