Southern Softpaw League swung into its third week of a coronavirus impacted season on Saturday as players bounced between two fields at Nickajack Park in Cobb County.

The season opened Sept. 12 with a host of pandemic-related safety measures in place. On Saturday, those precautions were on display – from temperature checks to masks aplenty.

The league takes a week off before returning to play Oct. 10.
