Social Tuesdays moves its upscale gay social and networking event to a downtown rooftop this evening.
In its third week, the mix of socializing, networking and fun settles into the digs of Maxim Prime at the Glenn Hotel on Marietta Street in downtown Atlanta beginning at 7 p.m. The casually elegant steakhouse is the same place with a rooftop bar that provides stunning views of the city.
It’s also the creation of famed restaurateur Jeffrey Chodorow, who swapped the Big Apple for the Peach State to oversee the development of the steakhouse, the first in what he hopes becomes 25 restaurants in the next five years in partnership with men’s magazine Maxim.
The Glenn Hotel earlier this year completed a $2.5 million renovation that ripped out the old lobby and gutted the hotel’s former restaurant, B.E.D.
Social Tuesdays launched on Sept. 30 at the Geisha House in Atlantic Station. Last week, it hit Tongue & Groove in Lindbergh City Center. View photo albums from the events here and here and see additional photos on the event’s web site.
