Social Tuesdays finds a favorite with tavern

Social Tuesdays returned to Marlow’s Tavern on Feb. 24, bringing a sizable crowd to the Midtown eatery.

It marked the second stop at the restaurant for the social networking group, which enjoyed another chance to pick from contemporary American tavern fare and full slate of bar offerings. When Social Tuesdays first gathered at Marlow’s, it was Election Night last November when Barack Obama became president-elect.

imageLast night, their paths crossed again as President Obama’s first address to Congress blared in the background on TVs throughout Marlow’s during the evening. The crowd on Tuesday, like the one last November, was decidedly Obama-friendly and cheered along with other supporters.
