A little snow might have put the kibosh on opening night, but the cast of “A Sordid Affair” mingled with fans toting DVDs and photos needing autographs during an informal stop Saturday in Midtown.
The crew — led by “Sordid Lives” mastermind Del Shores and his energetic partner Jason Dottley (top photo) — proved to be quite the draw Saturday afternoon at Outwrite Bookstore & Coffeehouse. They dished about the show, the television series and one another before hunkering down with pens and signing DVDs and photographs.
They were in Atlanta for a three-day, four-show performance. But Thursday’s snow led the 14th Street Playhouse to close Friday and in the process kill the premiere of “A Sordid Affair.”
The show reunites the cast of the “Sordid Lives” TV show for a variety show of sorts, along with guests including the “Princess of Country Music” Georgette Jones. Read more about “A Sordid Affair.”
